Match the property to the reservation
Copy the complete hotel name from the reservation and ask the property to confirm its arrival entrance. Similar-looking map listings, shortened names and forwarded photographs can create ambiguity. Keep the hotel’s contact number and address alongside your booking reference.
If your reservation is for Pik Palace or Park Chalet, use the relevant Pik Palace transport page or Park Chalet transport page as a starting point for the route. The car operator still needs the actual confirmed property rather than a general resort label or a preferred hotel that has not been booked.
Separate hotel reception from activity reception
A ski lesson or rental collection can require reporting somewhere other than the hotel reception. Ask the activity provider for its own meeting instruction, even when its name mentions the same property. Confirm the walk or local journey needed between the two points.
For a direct airport arrival, decide whether the first destination is the hotel or a prearranged activity desk. Luggage, changing and the hotel’s room availability affect that choice. The lesson timing guide explains why the teaching start should not be used as the car’s arrival target without a preparation interval.
Check the practical arrival needs
Tell the driver about large cases, ski bags, a folded stroller or any assistance you need with the vehicle. Ask the hotel which entrance is most suitable for those belongings and whether there are steps or a distance between drop-off and reception. Describe the actual requirement instead of relying on a broad request for “easy access.”
Before departure, collect:
- The full property name and confirmed map pin.
- The entrance or reception instruction provided by the hotel.
- A contact number reachable if the entrance arrangement changes.
- Any separate activity reporting point and time.
Ask the property directly about early arrival and luggage storage; a transport booking does not determine when a room becomes available.
Use the same precision for the return
Set the return pickup point explicitly rather than assuming the driver should find the group wherever the day finishes. If the pickup moves from the hotel to an activity entrance, send that change and obtain an acknowledgement. Allow time to collect stored luggage before the car’s agreed departure.
For a one-way drop, keep a record of any later car journeys that still need to be booked. For a return service, record both endpoints using the booking checklist. Clear property and entrance details make hotel arrival simpler while leaving room arrangements and on-site services with the providers responsible for them.
