Day one: arrive and get organised
Start with the actual pickup address and the destination hotel’s full name. A Baku hotel departure and a GYD airport collection have different starting conditions. If arriving by air, allow the driver to plan around the flight and the time needed to leave the terminal; read the airport transfer page.
Keep the arrival afternoon light. Check in when the hotel permits, locate the next day’s meeting point and settle any equipment or activity arrangements. An early lesson booked against an uncertain flight arrival can turn a relaxed overnight trip into a deadline-driven journey. Ask the hotel separately about early access to rooms or luggage storage.
Day two: protect the full activity day
Choose the main experience before adding optional extras. Skiers can arrange a suitable lesson or independent skiing plan through the resort. Non-skiers can use a sightseeing itinerary adapted to current operations. Leave a proper meal break and a clear regrouping point if the party splits.
| Part of the day | Planning priority |
|---|---|
| Morning | Main booked activity and necessary preparation |
| Midday | Food, changing or time together |
| Afternoon | Optional second experience if conditions and energy suit |
| Evening | Confirm the next morning’s checkout and pickup |
Hotel-to-activity transport is not automatically covered by an intercity drop-off. Clarify any local journeys when requesting the car arrangement.
Day three: finish with a realistic return
Work backwards from your next fixed commitment. Checkout, collecting stored luggage and assembling everybody belong before the vehicle departure. A final short activity is sensible only if it leaves a comfortable margin; avoid using your entire return buffer for one more booking.
If going directly to GYD, give the flight information and the airline’s required terminal reporting time. Ask for an estimated road schedule and discuss what happens if conditions change. The Shahdag–airport service is distinct from a drop at a Baku city hotel, so specify which destination you need.
Confirm the whole transport sequence
Request a written summary covering arrival transfer, any local journeys and the final return. State the luggage carried on every leg, not just the number of passengers. Two hotel nights do not necessarily mean the same driver or car remains reserved throughout the stay; ask what is actually included.
Compare your plan with the same-day outing if time is limited. For the overnight option, share all dates and endpoints using the booking checklist. The extra night is most useful when it creates a calmer schedule rather than simply allowing more appointments to compete for the same hours.
